Find an egg

Eggs sit off the main hall: under rooms, behind buttons, in pits. Official first example: cafeteria button on Floor 1 — hit it, drop, take the egg. If the button does nothing, wait or find another; the school holds several. Beginner pits: Floor 1 cafeteria and maze-adjacent holes. Later eggs sit behind yarn and gym side rooms. Use Floor 1, Floor 2, and Floor 3 as room maps. Read color and symbol before you sprint to an easel.

Match color AND symbol

Art stations (easels / paint stations) are scattered through the school. Community all-paint routes name five you will keep using:

• Yellow star
• Pink heart (the official first example)
• Blue fish
• Purple cat
• Green paw

The station must match color and symbol. Pink star is not pink heart. Purple paw is not purple cat. Multi-stamp eggs need every matching station — painting one icon and incubating early is why hatches fail.

Tutorial pink heart: leave the cafeteria drop, sneak a guarded room, run the maze, easel in the next space. Friday can add easels; if the heart is gone, walk the wing once then check Friday drops. Monitors still tag you with an egg. Teacher’s Pet morph or Smelly Fish; Catnip only if the station is far. Shop Gear is for the paint run you keep failing.

Paint, incubate, hatch

Walk into the correct station; the egg should pick up that stamp. Repeat remaining stamps. Place the fully painted egg in an incubator (a machine, not an easel) and wait. Hatch when it finishes. The Little Friend follows you — a companion, not a Floor 1-style playable body. Themed kittens (tiny DeeJay hunts, for example) still use this loop. If the incubator rejects the egg, you are missing a stamp. Yarn and keys on the path to a station are part of the hunt.

Paint-hunt tips

Memorize color plus every icon before you leave the pit. Paint on the same floor when you can. Clear teachers first. Do not incubate early. Use yarn when a button or gap blocks an easel. Follow the experience on Fridays — Friday drops is the changelog. Holiday and royal-family updates add extra eggs; check limited-time friends if a nest looks event-themed.

A useful paint order on Floor 1 is cafeteria egg, then the nearest matching easel, then incubator, then morph hunting. For a station-by-station sweep, open Paint and egg locations. Mixing paint with a full locker sweep is how you carry an unpainted egg into a monitor. If two stamps share a floor, chain those easels before you touch a key door. Floor 2 multi-stamp eggs often want a color you already learned downstairs; walk the Floor 1 station map once so you are not guessing icons under worse patrols.

After the cafeteria egg, sweep Floor 1 art nooks while you finish Floor 1 morphs, then take one Floor 2 egg under worse patrols. Floor 3 gym side rooms hide later nests near water — same wing as rotating portals on Floor 3. One hatch is enough for a follower; completionists should treat easels like keys.
