S-tier lobby morphs and Teacher's Pet utility versus Robux secrets that do not help you clear the school.

Morphs Tier List Hub

This tier list ranks Play Cats Morphs: Friend Rescue morphs by how they help you play, not by how rare a thumbnail looks. The game is a released, free, 10-player online scavenger hunt. Cute lobby cats get you badges. Teacher’s Pet gets you past hall monitors. Angel and Lucifur get you a screenshot. Those are three different jobs.

Criteria stay fixed across this hub and Shop Items Tier List:

  • S: lobby or easy high-visibility morphs, plus utility Teacher’s Pet and speed synergy.
  • A: strong look, reachable without Robux.
  • B: extra keys, parkour, or mid win-rate badges.
  • C: holiday and limited friends that rotate out.
  • D: Robux-gated secrets (Angel, Lucifur) or ~0.2% glitch cats. Cool. Not best for progression.

Approximate badge win-rates used as a difficulty hint: Oreo ~100%, Tex ~100%, Patches 98%, Lucky 95%, Luna 89%, Fox 66%, Smokey 64%, Puma ~50%, Skelly 41%, Angel ~0%, Lucifur ~0%, Glitch 0.2%, Gnaw 0.2%.

Progression versus collection versus stealth

Progression means reaching Floor 3 without the Busted Teleport Remote. S-tier and A-tier morphs do that. Catnip and Smelly Fish support the same goal; details on Shop Gear.

Stealth means hall staff ignore you, or Smelly Fish knocks them out, so a purrfessor does not dump you in the Floor 1 lobby mid-obby. Teacher’s Pet is the morph answer. Oreo does not make you invisible. Rascal, Spike, Niko, Gus, Bennie, and Tony are the names players hunt for that job.

Collection is optional. Missing Pisces does not block Floor 3. Missing Angel does not block knights. Rank D last. If a thumbnail says “best morph,” ask which of those three jobs it meant.

S to D table

TierMorphs (examples)Why
SOreo, Tex, Lucky, Luna, Patches, Teacher’s Pet (Rascal, Spike, Niko, Gus, Bennie, Tony)Lobby or easy cages plus the only morph type that changes how staff treat you. Catnip synergy: wear S, then sprint between rooms.
AFox, Smokey, Hero Oreo, Captain Poppy, Detective Rufus, CatstronautStrong looks, free, no Robux. You will walk farther than the lobby. Still a same-session clear.
BSkelly, Puma, Galahad, Arthur, Lancelot, Scully, Sapphire, GrimExtra keys, parkour, false walls, or mid win-rates. Worth a second loop, not a Robux skip.
CValentine hall guests, Pisces, Libra, other zodiac/holiday friendsFree while live, gone after the Friday rotation. Hunt them during the window, then return to S/A. See Limited Time Friends.
DAngel, Lucifur, Glitch, GnawRobux remote or ~0.2% badge hunts. Flex pieces. They do not open Floor 3 and they do not stop detention.

Teacher’s Pet versus cute S-tier starters is the comparison new players get wrong. Oreo, Tex, Lucky, and Luna are S because you can see the cages from spawn and almost every account earns the badges. They are the correct first morphs. They are the wrong morphs to wear into a monitored Floor 3 gym. After the lobby, swap to Teacher’s Pet if you own one. If you do not, buy Smelly Fish before you buy a teleport remote. Shop ranks live on Shop Items Tier List.

Secret Cat Friends split across B and D. Grim and Sapphire are B: Floor 1, free, extra searching. Glitch and Gnaw are D: rare badge hunts that do not help a clear. Angel and Lucifur are D because the Busted Teleport Remote is the reliable unlock. Walkthroughs: Secret Friends. Roster context: Friends Hub.

How to use the ranks in a session

Session one: S-tier lobby cats only. Read Floor 1 Friends and Getting Started. Session two: A-tier looks plus Grim and Sapphire. Session three: B-tier knights and keys, then Floor 2 and Floor 3. C-tier limiteds only if the portal is up. D-tier never until the free school is done.

If you spend Robux, buy Catnip or Smelly Fish before the remote. The remote is a D-tier morph unlock. You can finish the released game without it. New limiteds enter C. New Robux secrets enter D. The criteria do not shuffle because a thumbnail is cute.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Cat-School rescues, morphs, and Friday drops.

Why is Oreo S-tier if everyone has it?

S-tier here means easy high-visibility progression, not rarity. Oreo, Tex, Lucky, and Luna get you morphs in the first minute. That is the point.

Why is Teacher's Pet also S-tier?

It is the utility morph. Community reports say hall staff ignore you while you wear one. Cute lobby cats do not do that.

Are Angel and Lucifur the best morphs?

They are D for progression. The Busted Teleport Remote is Robux-gated. They look striking and they do not help you sneak Floor 3.

Where do limited-time cats rank?

C. Hunt them while the Friday window is open, then go back to S and A. A missing Pisces does not block the school.

Does this list change every Friday?

Only the C-tier names change. The criteria do not. New limiteds enter C; new Robux secrets enter D; new lobby cages would enter S.
