Floor 1 Walkthrough for Play Cats Morphs Friend Rescue
Lobby, cafeteria, lockers, mazes, keys, and Sapphire's wall.
Floor 1 is the ground floor of Cat-School and the lobby you respawn in after detention. Clear it with free stealth. Names are grouped by room, not a paragraph per cat. Roster only: Floor 1 friends. Movement and morph menu: Getting Started. Teacher’s Pet morphs make teachers ignore you; Smelly Fish stuns a patrol. Yarn plus red, green, and blue keys open rooms that look empty.
Lobby spawn cluster
Stand still after join. The atrium holds the cats everyone grabs in the first minute: Oreo, Lucky, Luna, and Tex. Morph into one of them so camera height matches the rest of the school. Socks and Cody sit on short walks off the lobby. Scooter, Robbie, and Tina cluster near early hall furniture — check benches and corners before you commit to the cafeteria.
Ten-player servers block taps; wait if someone is standing on a cat.
Cafeteria, kitchen, scratching-post secret
Do not sprint the open dining floor. Meowster Chef is kitchen / serving line. Foreman Fuzz sits in the work-adjacent cafeteria space. Sheriff Mittens, Spot, and Rover cover staff looks near the tables.
Early trio: Patches, Badger, Marshmallow. Heat and cold nearby: Hotcat, Snowflake, Crescent, Captain Poppy, Hades. Poppy is a separate pickup from Captain Poppy.
Janitor is closets, not lobby. Bo, Cookie, and Grim hide in darker cafeteria pockets. The big scratching post is a landmark: drop under it toward a false wall / cat painting for Sapphire, a wall-style secret. Walk into the painting if it looks too flat. Full notes: Secret Friends. A cafeteria button also drops to the tutorial egg in Unlock Kittens.
Classrooms, lockers, library corners
Myth, Penny, Tess, Dandy — quiet classrooms. Ritchie, Leo, Fluffy, Scar — nearby desks. Tiger and Meowshimi — louder pair in the same wing.
Stella, Rocket, Rufus, Emerald sit in decorated classrooms (posters, shelves). Patsy, Blossom, Mjowsten, Guppy are the pastel / planter quartet off the locker hall. Skelly is the bones joke; Scully is a different morph — tick both. Tap open or interactable lockers; Friday restyles happen without a long move.
Maze rooms, keys, costume packs
Walk mazes with the camera up. Snaggle and Smokey sit in tight corridors. Fox, Puma, and Hero Oreo are the animal-hero pocket — Hero Oreo is not lobby Oreo. Jaguar and Gecko usually need a door or climb. Firecracker is the loud palette in that hunt.
Costume rooms:
- Space and tech: Bellatrix, Astro, Catstronaut, p1nkb0t, Racer
- Pirate and detective: Scallywhiskers, Detective Rufus (not Rufus)
- Knights: Galahad, Lancelot, Arthur
- Festival and food: Sprout, Jokester, Autumn, Jade, Oxfurd, Princess Butterfly, Samurai Cat, Taco Gato
- Extra: Leon, Rascal
Strategy is the matching colored key, not a unique trick per costume. Floor 1 keys are red, green, and blue. Match color to door; do not drop a key to tap a morph unless the door is already open. If a door refuses the key, you have the wrong color or a members door — see Secret Friends.
End of Floor 1: lift toward Floor 2
When the morph menu looks full of school uniforms and you still have empty themed slots, keep sweeping. When you are ready to leave, run the Floor 1 finale:
- Jump to hit the high button.
- Avoid glowing floor tiles.
- Cross the platforms (the official route points out an apple).
- Take the blue key and open the door below.
- Hide from the teacher — a box works — then maze, button, lift.
That lift is the free unlock for the Floor 2 walkthrough. Teleport skips the gauntlet, not the halls you walk after detention.
Shop items that change Floor 1: Catnip for cafeteria crosses, Spring Shoes for the high button, Smelly Fish for the blue-door teacher. Rank them in Shop Gear. Floor 1 is finishable without Robux. If a named cat moved, check Friday drops then walk the same room once more — F84 likes to nudge a morph into a vent rather than delete it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Cat-School rescues, morphs, and Friday drops.
Where is Sapphire on Floor 1?
Treat Sapphire as a wall / false-wall secret near the cafeteria scratching post and cat painting. Details and other rares sit on Secret Friends.
Do I lose Floor 1 morphs when I go to detention?
No. You respawn in the Floor 1 lobby with rescues kept. You only lose position. Recovery routes start in Getting Started.
Which keys are on Floor 1?
Red, green, and blue keys with matching doors. Grab the key, match the color, then sweep the room behind it for costume packs and maze cats.
Should I clear every named cat before Floor 2?
No. Unlock the lift when you can survive the gauntlet. Come back with Shop Gear or a Teacher's Pet morph for the leftovers.
Where is the full Floor 1 name list without routes?
The roster lives on Floor 1 friends. This page is the room-by-room walkthrough, not the database.
