Shop Gear Guide

Cat-School is free. The shop buys back time, and it rolls Angel and Lucifur. This page ranks Catnip, Smelly Fish, Spring Shoes, the Busted Teleport Remote, yarn, and Teacher’s Pet morphs by job. Prices move; jobs do not. Grid: shop items tier list. Buttons: controls. Nothing here is required to finish Floor 1. Buy after you know what sends you to detention.

Catnip: speed

Catnip makes you run faster. That is the whole item. It shines on cafeteria crosses on Floor 1, walk-backs after detention (always the Floor 1 lobby), and holiday scavenger counts across three floors. It does not stun, jump, or open the Angel room. Buy it when you are still in the hallway as a head turns. Skip it for missed ledges or doorway tags. Free alternative: two classroom cut-throughs instead of the obvious corridor.

Smelly Fish: stun

Smelly Fish knocks out hall monitors and purrfessors that get a whiff. Use it on the Floor 1 blue-door teacher, Floor 2 lily-pad hallway teachers, and the Floor 3 gym teacher when you are not in a Teacher’s Pet morph. Stun beats speed in choke points; speed beats stun in empty atriums. Carry Fish for key doors and paint stations, not lobby taps. Free alternative: wait, or wear Teacher’s Pet.

Spring Shoes: jump

Spring Shoes make jumping easy. Buy them when you fail the same ledge twice: Floor 1 high button toward Floor 2, Floor 2 lily pads and Congo parkour above the blue-key door, Floor 3 water portals and gym rafters. They will not save a monitor tag. Combine with Teacher’s Pet on parkour next to a teacher. Catnip plus Shoes is overkill for Floor 1.

Busted Teleport Remote: skip and secret room

The remote teleports you around the school. Two jobs: skip walking after detention, and keep teleporting until you land in the Angel and Lucifur secret room. F84 stated that second job. Badge win rates around 0.0% match the odds. One click is not enough. Details: Secret Friends. Do not buy this first if you still need Floor 1 map knowledge. Free alternative for floors: walk. There is no reliable free alternative for Angel and Lucifur.

Yarn: the tool that is not a Robux flex

Yarn is a school toy and a puzzle item. Roll it onto buttons, drop it as a bridge (CatBot on Floor 2), open doors the Floor 3 unlock calls out. It does not stun, speed, or teleport. If a gap has no platform, try yarn before the shop. Floor 2 is where yarn stops being optional.

Teacher’s Pet morphs: teachers ignore you

Teacher’s Pet is a friend type, not a shop bottle. Wear those morphs and teachers ignore you. Strongest free stealth for classrooms and the gym. Hall monitors can still tag you. Morph into one before Floor 2 teachers and the Floor 3 gym teacher, then decide if Smelly Fish is still worth Robux. Buying Fish first and never morphing is backwards.

When Robux beats free stealth

Spend Robux if you have cleared the Getting Started lobby loop and still lose to speed or stuns, if a jump is the only blocker to Floor 2 or Congo, if you want Angel and Lucifur, or if a Friday event asks for floor-wide pickups on a timer. Stay free if you cannot name cafeteria, lockers, and the lift, if you have never worn Teacher’s Pet or used yarn on a button, or if you think the remote replaces detention recovery.

The shop clip on this page includes Valentine candy-box routing: Catnip plus Fish plus Shoes is a bundle for event grinding, not for a first Floor 1 clear. Follow the experience on Fridays. We will not invent a code that fills your yarn; how to redeem only if a box appears. Ranked grid: shop items tier list. Secret room: Secret Friends. Binds: controls.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Cat-School rescues, morphs, and Friday drops.

What should I buy first?

Catnip if monitors win on distance, Smelly Fish if they win in doorways, Spring Shoes if you fail jumps. Skip the remote until you want Angel and Lucifur. See the shop items tier list.

Do I need Robux to finish the school?

No. Floors are free with stealth, keys, and yarn. Robux buys speed, stuns, jumps, and the Angel/Lucifur roll on Secret Friends.

How does Teacher's Pet interact with shop gear?

Wearing a Teacher's Pet morph makes teachers ignore you, which often replaces Smelly Fish in classrooms and the gym. Hall monitors may still tag you.

Is yarn a shop purchase?

Yarn is a tool you pick up in the school. Use it on buttons, bridges, and certain doors. Controls covers how you throw or roll it.

Does the teleport remote find every secret?

No. Keep using it for the Angel and Lucifur room. Sapphire is a Floor 1 wall clip. Glitch is a rare Floor 2 spawn. Gnaw is Floor 3 buttons.
